Molenet Implications

I think this approach as an exploration of the dynamic and pertinent aspect of technological progress is an excellent method of involving the learners by bridging the gap between what they do in lessons and outside of their learning time. The term “supplementary” sums it up, as I don’t think it should be viewed as an alternative to the VLE; however, it will most certainly facilitate the kind of things that the VLE supports, and hopefully can be incorporated into what is already happening there. There is definitely a lot of scope, but it all depends on the way in which learners think it can be used (or misused!).
